A more accurate title for this "Watercraft" gallery might be one that reflects the interplay of the mood, light, color and texture in most of these images. Making photographs in the glistening mid-day sun may be fine if one has no other option, but I'm indebted to Alison Shaw of Martha's Vineyard, creative photographer and work shop leader, for the reminder that magic happens if one is willing to be ready to photograph with the first morning glow in the eastern sky!
